The Upper Cumberland Chapter serves the surveying communities of Crossville and the surrounding counties of Cumberland, Morgan,Overton, DeKalk, White, Putnam, Jackson, Clay Pickett and Fentress.

May 2019 Quarterly Report
Meeting was held at Hibachi Super Buffet, called to order at 7:45 PM Five members were present and one guest.
No minutes or treasurer's report as secretary was not able to attend.
Old Business: Discuss topics for seminars, including Ethics & Standards of Practice, the retaining of seminar certificates for a period of five years
and possibility of approval for 1/2 hour credit for attending Chapter meeting(s)
New Business: Dialog among those present about explaining to non members the benefits of belonging to TAPS and NSPS.
General Discussion: A handout explaining TCA 62-18-124 a,b,c and d with emphasis on 62-18124d concerning Notice to Landowners if a major discrepancy is discovered in the boundary (adjoining land owner) whether deed description, evidence of possession not consistent with deed description or adverse possession claim.
Meeting adjourned at 9:00 PM.
